NA is 12th May

Post from big boss Andy Garton
Quote:
I'm delighted to announce that Project CARS has now officially entered RTM (Release To Manufacture, or "Gold") status, with a street sale date of May the 7th/8th in Europe (TBC per country, but France is definitely the 7th and UK is the 8th) and May the 12th in the US.

Physically they are not. You can't change pieces.

But everything that a racing car can be altered, they can(gear ratio, duct opening, shocks stiffness, etc)

I've been playing the alpha/beta for about the last two years. At first I found the handling quite arcade like, a lot more like NFS Shift but with the help of people like Ben Collins they have really ramped up the handling and physics over the last 18 months. I don't think its as realistic as iRacing, Assetto Corsa or rFactor 2 but its not that far away but graphically beats all of them and the very best I've seen on the consoles such as Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Drive Club etc. In the open wheelers like the Lotus 49 there is really not a huge amount to choose between pCars and its rivals in terms of feel though I found other cars like the touring cars to be a little less realistic to drive. I'll be getting it on PC and likely XBOX One and PS4, on the consoles I think it will be the most realistic racing game on those formats and really give Turn 10 and Polyphony something to think about. If you're looking for an ultra realistic PC racer then you will likely be disappointed if you're looking for anything other than that though I'd recommend it.

Hmmm, Cars: The Video Game, huh?

I wanna race as Doc Hudson.
