Finally after 4 months from ordering her to delivery, my new car finally arrived. It's a 2012 Honda Civic EX Coupe, manual transmission (of course). She's my 3rd new Honda Civic in a row. And of course I had to deck her out:

It took 4 months to get her in because the earthquake tsunami in Japan affected the production of transmissions and the flood in Thailand affected the electronics. Plus, automatics get preference in build over stick since they're more popular than manual transmissions in the US. Boooooooo!!!!!! But worth the wait...

Yep. I used to fly the door panels from Georgia to Ohio many years ago.

You do realize he was talking about parts right? Final assembly is one thing, but the 1000's of parts come from all over.

Congrats on the new ride, she's a looker! Worth the wait.
And I blame the automatic transmission as the worst innovation in automobiles. If everyone drove stick, the road would be a safer place.

Sad but true! It would be kinda hard to be texting, talking on the phone or putting on makeup if one hand needs to be on a gear shifter most of the time.

Thanks! Yeah the sticker said 65% of the car is made in the US/Canada (engine is US) and 20% is Japan (transmission). Final assy was Alliston, Ontario, Canada,port of entry Buffalo.

I recently bought a car as well, she's a real beaut. I'd show pics but my dogs are always pissing on the tires. Jeez nice beamer, really clean too, except for that dog piss on your tires. Arrrghhhhhh lol
