I moved My Documents to D:\, but I'm having problems saving games to it. I found out that when you have My Documents as a drive such as D:\ and not D:\Users\Library that some games have problems saving games to the drive.

I tried moving it, but I can't do it by going to Libraries and right clicking. I normally would just go through Users\UserName\My Documents and move it, but it no longer is there. So how do I find the path to My Documents? It's just D:\ and that is the problem.

When you rt click and go to properties, did you set it as default location?
I did the same thing, I like my doc's on a backup drive. No issues with game saves though.

Yes, I did right Click it, but when I moved it off the SSD (It's small) to the regular HD it disappeared as an option. It looks like I'll have to reformat if I can't fix the problem. I can't get the My Documents property to open up correctly. If I right click on My Documents from the Library, it doesn't allow you to move it from that pane.

In Win7 I moved out of the real "My Documents" which was filling up with more system and software folders than I cared for. Tried hiding them, but then applications would complain and not work. I eventually created a new directory called "Actual Documents" and set my file manager to that path as default at startup.

Also did the same for games, creating a "Games" folder outside of "Program Files" to get past Win7 trying to lock down all system folder actions. I have so many addons and tweaks that I probably could never install and config them all if they were in the "Program Files" folder.

My first thought in your case is try working from outside any "Library" views. Start at the disk level and drill down. Libraries seem to behave oddly, at least not exactly like a folder view in explorer.

That's the problem. Look at the left Window, My Documents is gone, because it is at D:\. When I go to Libraries you can see it doesn't give me the selection option.

Now, when I go inside D:\, there is no My Documents file (I tried making that "Timothy" folder in an effort to try to figure out if I could see My Documents listed there.

If I right click the HD from My Computer, it doesn't let me get the My Documents folder.

I might just need to reformat.

You need to click add and browse to the path you want to use. Then click it in the view pane and select it as default.

Where do I click add?

On your 1st screenshot, on the right where you have the empty library locations....halfway down there's the add button.
