It used to be that when surfing the net and using the mousewheel click on a link would open that link on a new tab. Now with Win7, it takes me to a 'feature' where the desktop would 'cascade'. How do I disable the Win7 feature and get my surfing function back?
Also, is there a way to 'solidify' the top bar of whatevery folder is running, as well as the taskbar itself? Coz it's distracting to see a fuzzy image of the desktop background all the time at the top and bottom of the screen.
Thanks for all the help! This is my first time using Win7 and still feeling my way around things --- and never used Vista either.

For the "fuzzy" deal, I know what you mean. (this is a shortcut) On your desktop, right click and go to Personalize Click on Windows color Turn the slider up all the way to the right. Change the color too if you want. There's a checkbox to turn off transparency entirely, but I just do the slider.
I noticed the middle click wasn't on by default in IE the other day when working on my Dad's pc. I use Firefox so I haven't looked into how to alter that.

Hmm...not sure then. Got any mouse related software that might be messing with you? Mine has a macro-learn button that I never use, but sometimes I hit it and it screws things up. Try using Tab Mix Plus with Firefox, you may find some good options in there that will help.
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO, i7 6700k, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB, 980TI 6GB G1 OC, Obutto oZone, Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, CH Pro Pedals, NP TrackIR5, ***Soon*** Oculus Rift
You likely have IntelliPoint installed. It comes with the new "Instant Viewer" which shows all your windows/apps running. I love it, even if it's a total rip-off from Apple
Anyways, check your mouse software which you likely has installed.
