Oh my, it is fun! My 9-year-old and I had a blast last night taking turns manning the guns and sailing the ship (i.e. different roles but at the same time). We were total noobs but did manage to sink one ship to my son's great delight.

Nope, he's just a Minecraft obsessed 9-year-old, but I commandeered my computer and told him we were going to sail the high seas and he could either man the guns or the tiller. He chose the guns... we were a little frustrating until we learned to use the spyglass to see where the shots were falling.
