Sorry I didn't see your post, was pretty busy over the last couple of weeks. As far as I know the GUI check box is the only one I know of. As in a real tank you visability is limited by what your crew can see, and as you know if you move out of the targets view the box disappears and will reappear when you aquire sight again. There are a couple ways around this, one is to check your map. I'm pretty sure once you aquire a target it's icon stays on the map even if you lose the target designator box in the game (kind of like radar). Use your outside view. Also use the indestructable mode selection in the GUI. I know it sounds like a cheat but if you play a few rounds this way you will start to recongnize danger zones. Remember your driver follows preset waypoints and sometimes thay are not the best avenues of approach to a target or objective, so sometimes it's best to plan your own route and avoid areas that look like certain kill zones.
