Dear SAMSIM Funs!

As most of you knew, unfortunately I run out of Cold War SAM systems, that were easily accessible to photograph.
(SA-2,-3,-4,-5,-8)

As the SA-6 is still in service in Hungary, and it is considered a national secret, its out of limits for me.

I can see two systems as possible future SAMSIM additions...

- SA-1 the first Soviet SAM, with multi channel capability never ever matched
(one system was capable of engaging 20 targets parallel)

- Nike Ajax/Hercules, the western equivalent of the SA-2/5

... unfortunately as I'm unable to secure the required photographs, these systems cannot be simulated without your help.

If you knew somebody who would volunteers and could would draw the required panels for me (free), than these systems could be included into SAMSIM in the future.

Best Regards,
Hpasp

Hi!

According Nike-Hercules... There is a museum, where sometimes veterans are showing how the system works... I believe this is the site:

http://www.nps.gov/goga/nike-missile-site.htm

You could ask them to send you a proper materials (photo in good quality)...

Hpasp, would you mind if I forward your help request to another simulator site that I am a member of?

Do not mind to do it later, as of today I have one volunteer who are in the progress of drawing several S-25 panel versions, and keeps me busy.

Yes there are plenty of us who could give a hand. Wish I could have a lot more time myself(
