They have hinted that we will be pleasantly surprised. Time will tell, although it will be tough to make us all pleasant. wink

I'd personally avoid looking at such hints - it is better to be pleasantly surprised than sorely disappointed wink
However, I'll have to moderate the various 'discussions' around the fallout of each patch. So, I'm quite biased biggrin

Quote "Come on guys please be reasonable, a lot of people everywhere have not even gone back to work yet, and those that have, have hardly been back for a week. It was the holiday season after all!

Now that everyone is pretty much back and the work has started again on the patch after the break, i think you will all be pleasantly surprised if you can just be a little more reasonable and patient. And yes B6 was trying to do the right thing by communicating a little information ahead of time, and all some of you could do was shoot the messenger. Way to go. If you want more information you have to earn the respect of the PR team and developers to show you can take on bits and pieces of information without blowing everything out of proportion and crying the sky is falling."

Maybe part of the surprise is the release of that "secret feature" that no other flight sim has had. (according to Luthier)

That would be nice, but I think they still have to many existing nonworking features to address before the secret feature sees the light of day.

I think he's more in the loop than the rest of us. By the way while checking the moderators earlier posts I noticed you've been banned for three months. Nice bet. So if you lose, you'll have to add another month. lol

Actually, I believe Nearmiss (not sure it was him, but certainly one of the older mods) stated they don't get any more information than we do, or any direct contact with the dev team. BlackSix is as good as it gets right now...

Its got to be stability and performance in the next patch. Everything else can follow but what this game could really do with is more people sat at their PC's playing it instead of thrashing it out on forums. I'm fortunate not to have serious performance issues (it should run better on this PC than it does but I dont see FPS under 30 unless I do something deliberately stupid) but if they can get anythiing approaching the suggested 50% improvement it would open it up to far more players and give some much needed headroom so that things like better AA can be implimented without bring all our computers to a halt.

The best thing for CLOD would be these 3 things, this would sort 90% of the moans and get many more people playing...

EXE crashes
COOPs
FM

Ah, here ya are...."refurbed" so to speak... band

Much agree with ya Furbs.....Tree, as well.

Those three things...working reasonably well...would be a huge positive change from the dev's. thumbsup

If CloD were an Ere_tile Dysfunction med?
Nobody would "get off" the ground.
Further, 14 months after "taking it"?
The duct tape and splint patch ain't very fun.
So, what ya got now?
A bunch of folks sporting a male member, that looks like a "skinned squirrel".
