Can I chose to fly plane x from field x from the ground and can I choose what enemy planes my come?

My goal at the moment is to do some testing of a given plane. I want to set things up and try take offs and landing.

But from all I can tell there are just canned single missions that I can not change.

Its very easy to set up missions in the FMB using any airfields/aircraft/aircraft loadouts you'd like. I haven't read any of COD's FMB tutorials as its much the same as the keys used in the original IL-2 FMB. I'm sure someone will be along soon to provide some links for FMB tutorials.

The only way to do all this is in FMB, creating missions.

But, in Quick Mission, from a definite airfield you can fly with any flyable plane.

In the file linked below I modified (and rename) one (air start) Quick Mission to scramble, now you spawn in runway with engine idle, and take off to intercept incoming enemy raid. If I choose with engine off you spawn in some park area and need a boring taxi to end of runway, but it is easy to modifie in FMB.

- Actually I dont know how spawn plane on runway with engines off - how could in first version of CLoD.

Notice that FMB dont see the Quick Mission folder - to edit some Quick Mission or create a new you need copy then for folder Missions/single first, open in FMB, edit and copy back to Quick Mission folder.

CloD work with two mission folder:
Mission - contain Campaign and Quick Mission.
Missions - contain Multi and Single Mission.

In Quick Mission you are able to select planes/side before fly.
In Single Mission no.
