I have a new computer with W7 pro 64bit--newly installed RoF--newly installed g940 and something went wrong. At first though it was RoF because I couldn't access it. Deinstalled everything and started again. RoF OK and then saw that while installing g940 nothing appeared in the device/status column. With nothing showing I couldn't proceed to calibration and testing. Tried reinstall Nothing. Tried installing in another computer same result Nothing.
This a brand new out of the box g940. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

I know this may be a dumb questions, but did you plug in the power supply?

A lot of stuff in win 7 64 bit has to be run as administrator and with compatibility mode for vista sp 2/3 left click on the executable then right click then choose compatability for vista sp2/3 and check the run as administrator box hope this helps

When you plugged in the G940 during the software install did you notice a "Found new Hardware" and "Hardware Install" message appear in the lower right? Have you tried plugging it into different USB ports?
