Came out in about '98. I remember it being one of the first games to use anti aliasing. When you left it on the menu sometimes it would show the plane flying around and bombing ground targets and sometimes rarely a UFO would appear! I'm sure you could plan ops aswell..might have had Total War or something in the title?

F-22: Air Dominance Fighter?

Or the sequel, F-22 Total Air War?
Hard to believe it was the first to implement AntiAlias...
I can't quite place my finger on it but I think there was something before it...
