Hey.

Since I can't get F-15 running in Windows 7 (menu's don't work) I was wondering if it would be possible to get it running by installing Windows XP or earlier and running that OS from a virtual computer? Or would I end up with the same problems of non-functional menus? Is it a hardware issue, something with the video card, or an issue of OS? I am using an HP Pavilion DV6-6128CA.

It never hurts to try. JF15 was written with 3DFX coding in mind. The patch brought it up to date to work with DirextX 5 up to about 7/8 ish.

I haven't fiddled with the sim in years,so I hope someone can chime in.

I really think its an issue with DirectX coding and the graphics card. You need the right combination. But if you have Vista or 7, I think you're pretty much forced to use DirectX 9 or higher.
