Salute to you Sirs,

I tryed it long, hard - and without success.
In BS 1.09 (german download) in my second seperate installation with XP SP3 I figured
out how the trigger rules are working.
Not completely understood, but well enough to have a lot of fun.

In BS 2 (english download) under WIN7 prof 64 bit (in german) I can´t get them working,
it seems they are senseless. In Clear Tkvarcheli I´m allways hardly treaten by having
the complete range of possible friends and foes staying active from start on.
No matter, if in the rules I made them inactive from start on or set a time delay for them.
One example: russian paratroopers shall be activated after 360 seconds and if my helo
group passed a specific point and the mechanised assault group is in a specific zone.

Three rules to get the three groups of infantry activated. They occure from the first second
at the point the schall occure - friendly fire couldn´t be more unexpected and striking them.

What I´m missing in BS2 under WIN7?
Two complete seperate installations, one OS is invisble to the others and complete seperate
installations of BS.

I found it, finaly. The "mistake" is a 0 instead of a 1 in the stock given missions.
If command ACTIVATe GROUP is used in the trigger rules, the related group must be set
to plus one day. In BS 1 it has been +23 hours for such things.
I didn´t notice, that all are having a 0 in instead of a 1.
For instance 8:30:00/0 instead of 8:30:00/1. Now it works.

Hi jerrykraut,
I'll run my days out to at least 2, because some missions can easily go over 24 hours.

I've also found that the default trigger zone around the air fields doesn't come up on the list for triggers like "Part of group in zone", so I will lay down another trigger zone over the bases.

When a triggering group gets to a trigger zone I will set a flag that can then be used with a 'Time since flag' trigger to activate more things. If you want something to repeat using the 'Time since flag' then make it a Continuous Operation kind of event and use 'Time since flag' Condition and under Actions use 'Flag On' for the same flag and it will loop.
