I don't think there is an official one but I noticed mention of some unofficial mirrors and torrents in the BIS forum thread linked in my first post. Maybe one of these will help you.

I guess failing that the idea would be to install something like flashget which allows multiple download threads to improve your download performance and restartablity for downloads.

Ok, have i lost my mind, or is the mission editor broken? I can't "create" anything. Double clicking does nothing.

[Edit]...nevermind. Seemed it's a common problem with multiple TrackIR processes running. Fixed.

Odd that this problem only manifested after installing I44 though.
