Flight got me interested in Hawaii, having fun flying in multiplayer there, and it's carried over to FSX for me, a nice beautiful break from my usual Orbx.

Eyecandy provided by MegasceneryX Hawaii (now 50% off at PC Aviator), Carenado V35B, REX2.0, Shade.

If you have time. Could you post a few shots comparing both Flight and this addon using same places?.
Try low and high altitude shots.

Yeah it is photo scenery + mesh + some autogen, I checked and it doesn't look like there is a demo unfortunately.

I'm pretty happy with it even being used to Orbx, glad Flight got me interested in the area too :-)

Sure I will try to do that tomorrow.

Thanks guys, that's the West coast of Oahu which I don't have in Flight yet, I may actually buy that DLC tonight but looks like XBL is having problems letting me redeem a points card. Hopefully I will get to check it out in Flight soon.

Got my XBL probs squared away and got a chance to fly in the same West Oahu Coast in Flight as I had in FSX link here in case you don't want to scroll to 1st post:

MS Flight shots follow:

FSX with MegasceneryX is obviously better and more photorealistic looking, but overall Flight is decent especially taking into account that the framerate is 80-120FPS and no stuttering, obviously way better than stock FSX.

I'm enjoying Flight for quick flights, goofing around exploring and flying with the XB360 controller and online in multiplayer, but FSX is still my main sim for more serious flying with more detailed hardcore scenery and aircraft payware, both seem to have a home on my hard-drive for the foreseeable future depending on what mood I am in and how much time I have to setup my HOTAS/pedals/trimwheel.

No problem, I think Flight is definitely worth trying, especially if you don't feel like you need to pick one or the other or if you have an older PC since the performance is pretty awesome compared to FSX.

I'm enjoying it, yesterday I joined a multiplayer session where one of the guys was playing ATC tower controller at Hilo (PHTO) and so myself and another flier played along using ATC requests for taxi/takeoff/landing, I was just doing touch and go's in the pattern and pretty soon we had a bunch of other new simmers trying to learn ATC commands and asking permission for landing.

Pretty cool to see how many new people are checking out flight sims for the first time and how interested some of them became in doing the right procedures even when there's no ATC builtin but there's a couple of us in the session adding the extra sim immersion :-)
