Hit F3 to bring up the virtual cockpit.

Thats because there *is* no Mouseview in CFS3. Please have a look at this old thread:
http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=82;t=001616

I'm a bit annoyed too with CFS3.... my Track-IR doesn't work with CFS3 and theres no option to use the mouse-emulation \:\/

hm, my TrackIR works flawless. I also have a free panning view without TrackIR. Do you have your cfs3 patched up ?

Yep. 3.1a . It seems to be a problem for which there currently is no clear solution, I'm in discussion with Vincent from Natural Point in the Track-IR support regarding this for a few weeks.

My TIR works perfectly with e.g. FS2k4, IL2 etc. but CFS3 somehow doesn't like it.

Schurx, make sure you don't use a no-cd.exe use the original. I heard that can sometimes cause problems.

Thanks, but I use my original. By now I have installed it about 6-7 times. I also tried nearly everything else, except a complete reinstallation of my system (which I certainly won't do for a game).
But if you check the NaturalPoints supports forum (for Track-IR and CFS3), you'll find that a few users have the same problem. Strangely, like myself they don't have problems with any other games, just with CFS3. Vincent stated, that the TIR-Support is realized a bit differently from the implementation in other games. This seems to cause the problem, I guess.

Have you tried an older set of TrackIR drivers?
4.1 is the last one that works for me.

Thats an interesting idea, thanks !
No, didn't try it yet, I had the 4.1.028 installed and now the 4.1.029a3.
I guess the version you mean is the 4.1.025 then ? I can't find any earlier 4.1.n version or a 4.1.0 version.

I am running Build 28 with no problems on an IR-3 Vector.

It will only run on a stock exe. If you use a NOCD track IR will fail.
