Only 100 planes? What are we supposed to do with the other hour of our life that will be left once we've exhausted those?? The Jedi Master

WOW, great shot inded! I just hope those Panthers are only there because this are only preview screenshots since if I'm not mistaken the Panthers didn't saw combat in Nothern Africa (or at least in any considerable numbers). I liked very much that Ju-52 seaplane version even because I have a 1/72 model of it (the seaplane version) and it be cool to fly that thing!

The tanks are place holders from a working test of keeping the vehicles moving after one gets hit. So far the principal Axis vehicles completed are: 2cm Flak 38 (single barrel) pak38 at gun Panzer 3j and h Panzer Ib VW typ87 Panzer II Radio truck Mg 34 unit PzKpfw IV Ausf F1/2 Lancia truck Breda 47mm at gun Breda 20mm aa gun M-11/39 M-13/40 S-75/18 L-6/40 Fiat Spa APC Fiat Spa truck (2 versions) The VW is player drivable so you can get a view of the war from ground level. BTW I mentioned earlier that the Italians will be heavily represented in Phase I & here are a few other aircraft pretty much ready to go.

I'd think it would use the CFS3 one as the Med's situation was more akin to the Western Front WWII than Western Front WWI.

The Jedi Master Regarding the land war part, yes the CFS3 campaign engine could do a very good job modeling a North Africa scenario (but have my doubts about the Italian front) but the main problem (IMO) is the Naval war! The CFS3 campaign engine is unfortunaly a crap in terms of modeling a naval war (with all of those absurd numbers of ships displaced in a "frontline" like they were ground troops, not to mention the absurd number of Axis ships). So I hope that the MAW team came with a "cure" for this (if they choose the CFS3 campaign engine) or that they'll go towards a similar direction as the OFF team did which is creating a completly new campaign engine. This is the main reason why I made that previous question.

Remember the front line in Africa was very fluid & hard for CFS to model. So we are testing a number of ways to best present the campaigns. Plural is intended. B-17F We are not going to say much of anything specific about then right now but the bottom line is they will be transparent to the user, no non-standard interface is being used. You will not have to do anything special to get into them when starting or setting up the game, just click & go. I also expect historical missions sets will be available.
