I read a book a few years back "Pig Boats".

The US Navy sub fleet sunk a load of IJN ships.

Would be neat if we'd see a game relating to that part of the conflict.

I'm pretty sure that we'll indeed see a Pacific War subsim quite soon.

Since SHIII is selling extremely well for a sim I'm sure UBISoft got the hint. IIRC there actually has already been an announcement for a successor.

With the grafics engine, AI, weather engine etc. already in place it shouldn't take them too long to produce a Pacific War game.

I just hope there will be also british and dutch subs besides USN ones. And maybe even *gasp* japanese ones...

I would really like to see a Japanese sub sim. AFAIK it has never been done. I just drool at the sight of an I-400 class.

I'd love to be able to captain a British sub. Particularly the HMS Seraph. There could be a whole campaign made around just that particular boat!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Ooh ! I'd love to command one of the RN's U Class subs in the Med ! And an I-Boat. Sub sims have been pretty much Mk VIIs and Gato's since the dawn of the genre.
