I know it's old stuff.but I loved it!
PARADOX TACTIC
TACTICAL BRIEFING:
The PARADOX TACTIC ( discovered by Col. Paradox during the Infograme's messageboard tactical meetings )
Point 1 You want to win campaigns.
Problem: In TAW you do not have much control on the tactical side...
Tactic control over flights in TAW:
Start a campaign, let's say...Thin line.
Edit a strike/ WW / BAI flight in your mission roster, put Raptors on Escort and Strike role as much as you can ( I usually put just 2 f22 on strike and 4 on escort ) fit them with full payload Initiate the mission, strap your seatbelts, close the canopy, go to EMCON 5 and ask the tower for your Takeoff time. Wait until the speech line goes away and the press SHIFT + Q then E.
Your mission is failed, you will have no point for that mission, ( Keep reading, here comes the surprise...)
Repeat the method for every F22 Strike/ BAI / WW flight in your roster, ( Actually on my mahine after 7 flights " launched" I will expect a crash, so reamain around 5 strike/ww/bai and 2 CAP's
After 10 minutes of this work you relax, put your eadphones , grab the joystik and then you jump on that AWACS waiting on the TARMAC. ( shh !!keep reading )
After a while you will see that ALL the flights you've edited are taking off !! ( you can write down their takeoff times )
Now you have an AWACS that can control up to 8 F22 flights !! So give them enough cover, and jump into the planes when tey are 2 minutes away from their targets, Tis is VERY effective ! This way you miss the boring side of a mission and you can actually control the skies !!! Hope this will add some fun to your battles !!

The Paradox is one of the things that I've been wanting to try but never actually experimented with.
I was afraid i would never win Highland without using it, but last week I made it! Simply went after every barracks in every town -- they're easy to spot -- and obliterated them with Mavs or rockets. The result was that I hit 60% Army targets well before the end of the campaign... I think with about 20 hours to spare. The Sudanese airbases had been thoroughly bombed and their C4 network completely erased so they did not put up much of a fight. So no Paradox and an easy win (it won't be so easy later on, will it).

TAW fliers: This is a tactic that was pioneered by an old friend of mine, one Nick "Paradox" Parker, back in 1998. All TAW fliers should know about it, because it's an easy way to win campaigns, tho I don't use it Hence, my first Sticky! Miao, Cat

What a flashback! I was one of the 1st respondees, and converts back in the day. Nick and I emailed back and forth a bit to get it ironed out, but it really does work! Getting all the fails put me off, but the ability to jump from one jet to another and just blitzkrieg in with a half dozen flights and supporting aircraft is just an awesome offset! Just watch out for the flying saucers...

I like to stop by here avery couple of years to see what is going on! 8) So, didja get through Crypto, Nick? I'm sure that you did! I hope you are pushing the envelope and using your virtual skills as well and driving a UAV. I have a new gig since the last time we chatted, as I've been writing a column for Flight Journal called Virtual Pilot. Same ol' Same old IT stuff during the day. I wish they had UAV's back when I was in, but the Wright Brothers had just barely made their flight when I was an NCO! Hope things are well, and you doing the USAF tradition proud. Great seeing you again as well, Cat, we infrequently cross paths a bit it seems...
