Nice to see you sticking your nose in here again! Well, promises, promises. Everything along this line seems to peter out. I'd been really hopefull about WwW's,BOP til it folded and it looks like Oleg can't handle producing a WWI FM, we'll never get the code to RB3D so let's hope something at least FUN comes along though we all know the depth of RB3D can never be reproduced.

Everything along this line seems to peter out.
There have been too many disappointments to count in the world war one genre, but Third Wire\'s game is inching ever closer to release. Christmas 2005?

Yes, and it's free. Can't wait for that one!

I sincerely hope that it makes it to the shelves. Forget IL2 WWI. Get OFF (for CFS3). I downloaded and installed it yesterday. It is outstanding! I'm sorry but it's way better than RB3D. The boys at OBD did themselves proud--planes, scenery, menu options. Everything. This free mod is of retail quality.

Oh BOY! I stopped at CFS2 and IL2. Of course anything for IL2 will only be for Forgotten Battles, of course. I'd have to buy CFS3 and IL2 FB. It never ends!

I reckon Oleg can stick it now that OFF is out! He could have delivered the goods, but he chose not too! I would not pay money for it!...The FB series scenery is so bland compared to OFF

I guess to me it all depends on how the MP works out for both games. OFF looks good and I am hearing the SP is great, but I played the MP and there is a lot of work to do to make it equal to RB3D. The IL-2 WWI game artwork looks great, and it will be Track IR compatible, and I am assuming will have very good MP. I guess time will tell in all of this.
