This seems daft, but what is the button for chat in RB? I don't want to enter a server and not be able to say S! Is it backspace?

Also, I see that Wings of valor is down?? It had a patch you needed ? for MMP It had a number 1078 or something? Do I still need that- If so, any idea where to get it, please ?

Yes, once you're in the game, press backspace to chat. Your arrow keys let you choose whether to talk to all, your team, those in visual range, or just your squad.

I don't know what's up with WOV. But you can get rb3d1078.exe from Rens' site, to enable you to see the servers:

I don't know what's up with Wings of Valor, either...otherwise I'd direct you to their "Files" section for my Multi-Player Tutorial. Not only does this document tell you how to get up and running in on-line play, it also lets you in on most of the "tricks of the trade" needed to be successful...including essential keyboard commands and functions.
