Well I uninstalled everything last night and reinstalled It again in the order of my last post, with the exception being after the two patches from sierra I loaded the glide patch then added the other patches all the way through step 4. Voila! there was glide in the preferences,I checked It and crossed my finger and played an instant fly now.At first I thought It wasn't working, because I couldn't see any other planes. That was until I realized I was flying in clouds! Then there was the other plane. After blazing away for ten minutes(Ok unlimited ammo, and I needed It!)I finally managed to shoot It down. Then I took a joy ride and saw the terrain, compared to what It was before ,Its like a miracle occured. There were trees and bridges and I'm not sure but I thought I saw a train too.I didn't see many buildings though, even though I did see quite a few in some of the screenshots. Anyway a heartfelt thanks to all those who put all the long nights and hard work into all this.To anyone who has this game and hasn't used It in a while, please dust It off, install the patches and mods and truly be amazed at this WW1 sim that looks almost as good as IL2 In my humble opinion. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use the campaign manager?

Bruce, You may wish to drop by our humble abode - there is a little "patching primer" that details how to use Campaign Manager - it is a little old but the basic proc is the same. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/brigstock/rfc266/html/ Drop by and have a look. (Click the RedBaron button then "tutorials". ------------------ RFC 266 - The first UK based RedBaron squadron Jarvis's IL-2 and RB3D Vault I hate to shoot a Hun down without him seeing me, for although this method is in accordance with my doctrine, it is against what little sporting instincts I have left.
