After looking at the screenies at Flybert's place, I'd like to try this out for myself. Unfortunately, the WFP patches aren't available at SWWISA, and the PL site says the terrain is coming soon. Are these still available?

And how difficult is installing WFP? I've heard you have to manually change dates or something everytime you play a campaign...I'm a bit confused...

The SWWISA server crashed recently, and they are getting it back up now. I just tested the WFP page. Part 2 of 1916 and parts 1 and 2 of 1917 are there. I'm sure the rest will be there soon.
It is not hard to install, but you must have Campaign Manager installed first. Get this from the Wings of Valor files page. Then you simply extract all the WFP zips into ~\RedBaron3D\cm11\Patches\ . They will create the folders for you. When you create a campaign, you then use the "Set Game Date" function of Campaign manager to tell WFP what files to load. Then, still in Campaign Manager, open your campaign in "Campaigns" and click on "Update Data". CM will swap in the files you need to play your campaign. You need to do "Update Data" after every mission. The readme that comes in the WFP Base Patch explains all this. The aircraft chart that you can get from the same page will show you which planes are available and when.
Promised land will be out when it's out. There's other terrain out there, if you can't live with the stock look. Rens' terrain is nice, and you don't have to switch it out when your campaign changes seasons: http://www.xs4all.nl/~rensg/terrain.html

I neglectd to mention that, having unzipped the WFP zips, you then need to open CM, click on "Patches and Files", and "Add" WFP.
