Well,I started in Squadron 24 at the very beginning. Is there some other way?
It's April 3 1917 and I've had the PUP for a few missions now, what a relief. With my staggering kill list I really should have been selected for special consideration!

Wow - you made it up to the point where you got the Pup?

I've always started my RFC campaigns with No. 24 Squadron...as you may have guessed, these campaigns are awfully short although half of that is my fault since I can't seem to resist shooting up enemy ground positions while on my way back to my home aerodrome.

Be happy Skiddmark, the real pilots of 24 Squadron had their DH2's until may, and they were replaced by DH5's, not Pups. Another mediocre plane, they flew it until Late 1917 when finally a good airplane was given to them, the SE5

After the DH-2 the DH-5 probably seemed like a rip roaring battle machine...

It must have been reassuring for the ex-DH/2 pilots to receive a plane that flipped into a spin just as frequently as their previous mounts.

Well luckily I don't think any pilot stayed in the unit that long, British pilots were often rotated out for Home Defense duty, unlike the Germans.
