S...& Happy Holidays, Trying to pick out the best rudder and stick outfit for my favorite flight sims. Only fly in the ointment may be my Act Labs racing wheel which demands the #1 slot in the game controllers thingmie. Any and all suggestions greatfuly received. Thanks

I've been really happy with my MS precision pro twist stick for pretty much every flight sim out there. The newer MS twist thats available now I haven't tried yet. It plugs into USB only I think and only has half as many commands able to enter due to removing the shift key. Best Buy had them for like $19 last week. It twists instead of using actual rudder pedals.

Yo Hentzau, Thanks for your input. Already running an old MS twisty grip which has seen heroic service. Unfortunately MS also demands the #1 slot in game controllers. Investigating another brand since I'd like to keep the wheel. Only thing I don't like about the MS is it seemed to develope a certain amount of slop early on.

OOps! My mistake. Seems like some older programs only have capacity to run one controller and it will pick the controller in the #1 slot on the game controller thingie. This is the slot that the MS stick locks itself to. No ptoblem with Act. Just my old GPL sim. But have to retro the MS stick.
Looking seriously at the CH. Their tech support people were pretty helpful with info.
