Well going from 256 ram to 768 makes a major difference;I can halfway enjoy this game now. I have ordered a ATI Radeon 9250 256mb video card, just waiting for it, hope to finally see some eye candy.
I played Barham scn last night and enjoyed it playing mainly from the nav map and tdc with the crew helping me out at 56%realism. Dived under escorts, back to periscope depth (just raise scope without looking, with my slow card just can't do it) , spotted last BB in line(Revenge) pulling away, order WO plot solution, fire all 4 forward tubes at BB, 1 hit(near stern), 1 dud, and 2 appear to die in water in mid run. I dive to reload and speed up hopefully to catch up if BB is crippled(?). After 2 tubes ready back to periscope depth and there she is , barely making 6 knots, I speed up again to get a good shot, fire 3 more fish (overkill) as first one hit BB she turns turtle (I would have loved to see this in more detail(well maybe next week:)...only one thing bothered me, all her escorts left her in a cloud of dust, this was the only thing I found wrong in this scn. More to come as my pc gets up to speed!!!

You should be able to handle it with that setup.

I'm glad that you are finding a way to be able to get out to see without it right now.
