I was in a mission and had both rudders destroyed by depth charges and was going to try changing course by setting one engine to reverse, but on the engine telegraph in the engineers station, if you move one control they both move???
Should it be possible to move them seperately?

maybe on diesels, you could try running the battery recharge mode to see if it would turn...in battery recharge the port shaft is disengaged so without rudder control you might make a left turn.

of course don't help you much underwater.
