I just bought a used copy of fleet command. I D/L the xp patch from Sonalysts. Now after I install the game through the patch, things are a bit confusing about which other patch I should apply. There is the infamous Naval Warfare Project or should I go for the official 1.2 patch. My cd version was 1, and now it is 1.38, but I think things are not right. As when I tried to play the tutorial everything ran fine except for the fact that my Hornet didn't have any A/G weapons where as according to the tutorial it should have a Mav atleast. Can anyone help me...or is it that I spent money on something not good enough????

Dunno, havent played FC in years let alone on XP. But I do remember for a fact that the great NWS enhancements made FC much more stable and enjoyable back in the day.

I still would like to try the lastest version of FC tho' considering NWS' ongoing support. But then again, it will never be Harpoon-level and the graphics suck pretty bad this time and age.

But then Harpoon was never about graphics....

As one possible quick answer.. you may need to install v1.2 first and then v1.38. Let me know if that helps any. You can find the places to download the latest Sonalysts patches at the above link also.
