BOY! That would be great. Do you need someone to come along to carry your pencils?

Not being a naval simmer at all (I played Silent Service on my C64, but that hardly counts does it) I'm kinda looking forward to Harpoon 4. Looks interesting.

I've played both Harpoons as well as Seawolf, a "lite" modern sub sim, and Aces of the Deep. AoD was great, kinda like EAW for subs. Seawolf had that awesome multiplay. Of course, H2H was kinda boring because at slow speeds you had to be on top of each other to hear. Usually someone would get impatient and active ping, then it was a race to see whose rocket-launched torpedo killed the other guy first.
I remember well coordinating destroyers, dunking helos, and P-3's looking for Han subs in Harpoon.

Have a peek at some of the screenies in this preview. Once both sims come out, we'll have some real WWII action..........I hope.

Dan "CRASH" Crenshaw,

Hi..... Just wondering if you have been able to firm up any plan to visit SSI and come back with some SH/DC scoops?

I'll up my offer from carrying the pencils to being your wheelman.

Pops,
Sorry I could not get with you on that pencil carrying gig ... we sort of firmed up last minute. Check out the trip report tho, let me know what you think.
