First off, I get shaky movement, the terrain lurches forward and stops maybe twice a second, for all vehicles. Sound is nice, but there is a 1-2 second delay before it starts, after hooking a vehicle.

When 20+ missiles are in the air and multiple vehicles are attacking each other, I have gotten four Dump to Desktops. Any way to reduce the load on the CPU without changing to unrealistic one at a time missile attacks?

How come sometimes I can't get a vehicle to attack another, (with the correct weapon of course) as recently I tried to use the TLAM to hit an airport, but the ship would not launch despite being in range and giving affirmative track (is this a bug or am I the bug?)

Is the manual any good? what about strategy guides? I bought my "gold value" edition and no book....

It CTD a lot for me as well (same version....Gold Edition).

The manual with the original game manual was very poor. Ok, the version I have is FC Classic (not "Gold" like I thought!! , which is the "oldies but goodies" cheap package that includes the first patch.

I am running a P2 350mhz, Asus p2b, 128megs ram, 32meg DDR Geforce (Creative), regularly defraged and whatnot, but I still have most movement in FC be jerky, but the FPS of the video is decent, it seems something else is slowing it down.

I dont have any addons to FC, but I am interested in this WDP : where can I DL it from? is is a pay for DL thing??

you can download the wdp files at http://www.naval-warfare.co.uk and no you don't have to pay for it.

Found a used copy of FC/Classic & went to the WDP site & downloaded megapatch & data, doctrine, & graphic files & installed them & the thing works! I really liked the idea of FC but was disappointed by the original version for a lot of reasons. I got to tell you that this reworked version looks great. Runs fine on my system. It was a chore to do all but well worth it.
