Does anybody remember how many subs there are in the Taiwan campaign ? I suspect it is dynamic to some extent, but is the number somewhere around 6 ?

Finished-up the Taiwan Campaign last night. I capped off seven subs - whew ! The ASW battle lasted long after the surface action was complete...

Wow! Seven huh? That must have been the entire fleet of PRC subs sortied at once.
