I don't much go in for mass law breaking, so no.

“Government has three primary functions. It should provide for military defense of the nation. It should enforce contracts between individuals. It should protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property. When government-- in pursuit of good intentions tries to rearrange the economy, legislate morality, or help special interests, the cost comes in inefficiency, lack of motivation, and loss of freedom. Government should be a referee, not an active player.” - Milton Friedman

there isn't anything worth seeing in the hangers other then drones and drone swarms, plus 2 satelites load.
the fun party is underground. But if people really wanted, assuming they made a motorcade no one would stop them on the ground.....too bad they just happen to have an air base nearby, railroad of death anyone ?

I read this a couple times and still don’t understand what you are saying.

???

if hundreds of people packed in their cars outside the base and just drove in, military on the ground wouldnt be able to stop all of them...but they could request air suport from the nearby air base.

Not going to make a real argument here, but blocking a road is incredibly easy. I think you are very wrong about nobody would stop them on the ground. Off reading isn’t an option unless you have that kind of vehicle.

Not going to argue anymore here in Community Hall.

Off roading. Autocorrect changed it and I didn’t notice.

A few M72s will quickly discourage anyone that tries to go around a road block.

Well I guess they'll soon find out they can't run faster than bullets.

Just drop some job applications and apartment lease paperwork (so they move out of their mom's basement) and they will scatter like cockroaches in the light.

Anything is possible but short of bullet proof face masks, they are in deep #%&*$#. Even a .22 Cal bullet is devastating if it goes through the eye and bounces around inside the skull.

I'm pretty old school, so just a plain old M2 would work too or if I were in a particularly jaunty mood an M134 in the back of a 5 ton truck.

One part of me hopes these idiots see sense and at the worst just show up and hang around the perimeter, get bored, get their participation medal and go home. The other part hopes a few will be brave enough to trespass and get their stupid asses kicked smash

The guy who set up the website has gone public saying that it was all a joke and he seriously hopes no one actually tries to follow through. I'm convinced he's more concerned with having people's deaths on his conscience than he is any legal action taken against him.

As futile as the concept is, it does make for an interesting mental exercise...

Obviously a "million vehicle onslaught" would never work - they'd "see it coming" so easily and assuming lethal force was actually used, well forget about it. But I don't even think it'd come to that - they'd just "close" a few surrounding roads and that's the end of that...

On foot? Forget about that 1000x - that's seriously remote desert out there, "Area 51" itself probably wouldn't have to even lift a finger.

But let's say you're really serious about getting in - NOT that you're going to get inside any BUILDING there, but just to get inside and trespass. Just to see the place with your own eyes (a pointless and stupid goal...)

Interestingly, if you could somehow find a way to deal with little things like WATER you might actually have better odds (solo or a pair) of pulling off an incursion (but nothing more than exactly that) than some "state actor" actually trying to pull off an incursion and actual mission goal of some sort...

I'm thinking you'd have to be some kind of "survivalist" who really knows how to handle the desert to even begin to think of such an endeavor...

And even then I think all you'd accomplish is an incursion...
