Before you tell someone to walk a mile in your shoes remember that you'll have to walk a mile barefoot to get them back.

not if its half a mile away, turn around, come back again, or a mile in a small circle around you, or if you have a car and go alongside them ... no ones ever said it had to be a mile going away from you in a straight line neaner smile

My random thought of the day: How many tabloids would go out of business if the British royal family no longer existed?

When they say “next exit” don’t they really mean “this exit” ? Next exit would mean the one after this one. Unless you are not near anywhere near the exit; then the next exit would be correct.

The reason the rice krispies stuck to the edge of the bowl dry out first is because they are closer to the sun.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck.”

How does an Amish girl know if it is a romantic candle lit dinner, or just regular dinner?

The Amish don’t do “romance”.

I saw a sign that said "Put litter in it's place," so I threw my cigarette butt on the ground. Otherwise it wouldn't be litter.

Meh. He's not wearing his. You walk barefoot. I'll put on the empty shoes.

Why does a woman have to keep getting "permanents" applied to her hair?
