LEGE
I really enjoy "gypsy swing/waltz", maybe due to that my late father loved Glenn Miller and would play him (among other great swing artist) every Sunday morning at home when I was a kid.
A tribute to Django...

BTW, have you red "Vipers in the Storm" by Keith R.? Great read!
Sadly not, I'm no great reader, I must admit. If I'm reading a book at all, it's mostly some technical stuff
Angelo Debarre, wow what a great guitar player. I wish I could also play guitar, but I have only started a bit with it many years ago and never had enough patience for it.
I've given a guitar to my son as he was 14 years old. The first year he played not really much, but then he suddenly begins to exercise like crazy
Since that time (he is nearly 21 years old now) he really plays every single minute of his free time. I admire his patience so much and sometimes I'm a little bit envious, cause I really would love to play like him also
Now at my older days I'm much more patient, compared to the past, but I have problems with my fingers caused by a neuropathy. So playing guitar will stay a dream forever
My dad (he's 72 years old now), walked off his home as he was a young man and went to Sweden.
He met some guys there playing in a band called "The Shamrocks". He toured with them and also played sometimes the drums. Later as he met my mother, those times were over
He is still in contact with some of those guys and sometimes they met each other, especially if old bands of the past give a little concert again. The last time they met was as "The Marmelade" was in Bonn in 2016.
Must have been a great day, with a lot of beers, of course
Ok, I think I have to stop here now, cause I totally jammed this thread
Sorry for this
I just have been that enthusiastic, cause I had right the last days, the chance to hear all my music again since more than two years.
I will also inherit the LP collection of my father somewhere in future, but I hope this will be many, many years later. We do still meet each other and of course my son is always present at those meetings of three generations, too
I think I will give him the LP collection and also my whole music collection, cause he's much more an enthusiast as I ever was. I think it's in the right hands then.
I also started with collecting simulations at the late 80's and have so much of them too. I think I have to do a little clean up with all the things I've collected sometime in the nearer future, also I did not like this idea very much.
My girlfriend really respects my hobbies and also always stood behind this crazy guy, I am, but you never should overstep the mark
@Red2112
Let's stay in contact here in the forum. I saw that you are a flightsim fan also. Sadly I do not much fly with cicvil aircraft, and also do not own the P3D (don't laugh, I'm still mostly with the old FS9, cause I have tons of addons for it) but I think this will change again if the new MSFS really does what they promise.
The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run
And another scarry one It's from the movie "The Mothman Prophecies" with Richard Gere (a must have seen movie!)
There are two versions of this song, I prefer this one. P.S: Real good background sound for playing games like Slender - The Arrival or something similar
Yes, as said I'm collecting all kind of combat, most flight sim and also racing simulations since 1988, so Steel Beast is an absolutely must have It's also the only modern tank sim at the moment.
Sadly I did not have the time to really use it the last few years, I hope this will change now. Version 4.1 will be a first day after release buy. Hope it will be already available this July
P.S: Ok Steel Beasts is history now, cause there isn't any way to buy it for me . The only way to get it is the use of a creditcard and here only selected cards. American Express is not assisted any more. No PayPal, no Steam or comparable and also no AMEX. I'm not willing to obtain another creditcard only for SB.
Does anyone remember this? Also a number from the late 80's. And with a real "gooseflesh-effect" (don't know how you are calling this in English)
