Saw one of these recently, same color and model (the Saturn Sky was the sister car to the Pontiac Solstice)...
Seriously thinking again about a new Miata before it's too late. Loved a recent Car and Driver article which points out that the Miata is about as old-school as you can get these days, including proper stick and clutch. Wife and I miss our 5-speeds (original Integra and a couple of Hondas) and we're looking over the possibility even before the house is finished.
But IMO, the Sky was the sexiest of them all.

If you want REAL fun buy a Jeep, there’s nothing like top- & doors-off driving in the summer. TJ (97-06), YJ (87-95), CJ (up to 86), and JK/JL (07-17/18-on) in order of preference. (JK & JL are technological nightmares not worth owning if out of warranty.)

Looks like a really fun car to drive. Standard transmissions are fun, except in heavy traffic.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.
That's a decent price, although I'm not really a fan of recent car designs.
Even if I won the lottery, I'd buy a restomodded or reproduction classic of some kind, with the '50s 'Chevys and air cooled Porsches being particularly tempting.
there was one like that at the local Ford garage and the wife kept saying why don't we get a roadster as we passed. Only thing is, getting something like that with a passenger that gets carsick if you even think about going round a corner then it is out of the question. Sigh! The Range Rover is very smooth and very comfortable and it does not wallow on the corners and still you have to take extra care not to upset her, doing the Stelvio Pass in the range was an exercise in restraint

I forgot about that car, thanks. I'm definitely going to compare styling, features and price (which should be really close).

Not my speed. But I could see owning something like this if I wasn't surrounded by flat rural curvy highways.

Yeah, not sure I'd want a stick if I still lived in Atlanta. But spending a day in the North Georgia mountains... Oh, how I miss my CRX Si sometimes.

OG, that Maserati is a beautiful car, just too rich for my blood.
I know this doesn't make much sense from someone who shops at thrift stores, but I'd rather have a new car warranty, smell and feel. Maybe I should get over it and do some research on buying pre-owned, but the last couple of car purchases were a breeze (the little Mrs. can be brutal with the finance guy, nothing gets past her when they start playing with numbers).
BTW, I'm going to keep the '08 Element as it only has 180,000 miles and runs just fine, if just for bringing dogs to the vet, making Home Depot runs and pulling my mower trailer.

That's not an '84 Fiero, so my only questions are who are you, and what did you do with Mark G?
Lol. Actually that would be an '88 (GT 5-speed with dealer-installed T-tops...the last model year which some consider the one that Pontiac finally got right). Man, if I would have seen that car instead, this thread would be full of Fiero pics.
