What terrible news. He was one of the stalwarts here.

I was worried when that infection laid him low and he dropped out of the forum.

Didn’t know about the cancer.

RIP Tom 20mm.

I'm sorry to read this.

The one discussion I remember having with 20mm was years ago when I lived in Fl. We were comparing our wives' tolerance for bringing a flight sim manual to a restaurant (mine was F-22 TAW, his was Falcon 4.0).

RIP.

Some of, the best if not the best threads on this forum 20mm was a significant part of. I'm glad I got to meet him, in person. Rest Easy Tom.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Very sad news indeed. frown
I always held out hope that he would eventually return to the forums and resume where he left off.
RIP Tom.

Considering that the loss of other long-time members is still fresh in my mind this news is particularly difficult. God Bless Tom & your family and thank you for your contributions to SimHQ over the years.
RIP

Devastating news.. Tom was such a good guy. More than half my post count came from following his goofyness.. And it was wonderful.
The "night of the EELs", will never be forgotten (well almost), think everyone on Community Hall had too much to drink that night. And it was way
before Political Correctness was even a word..

And thanks Doug for letting us know. Sucks, but at least we know.

Seriously, if you know someone fighting cancer offer your time to them. It's the most precious gift you can give. Sit with them, talk to them, you don't even need
to say a word. Besides the chemo, it's a mental game that has to be won too. And don't forget the families, loved ones, friends supporting those going thru
treatment. They need support too. Unfortunately, I know that first hand. Special thanks to Bill Grant, OG, and Shan for their time they gave me.

To 20mm, take care buddy.
