What's a lawn mower?
Is it one of those powered thingies that are usually ridden by recently arrived immigrants?

**Ahem** I was born and raised in this country, sir. And my sore 65 year old back and butt will attest to the fact that I spend three to four hours a week (weather permitting...right now the one pictured might suit better) on my ZTR.

Like Arizona, Florida doesn't know what grass is, unless it is the weed kind.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I know exactly what a lawnmower is. It is what is used by the landscaping company to mow my lawn. I am 60 yo and one of the privileges of working hard over the years is that I can afford to pay someone else to do the mowing.
That should work well now in some places but especially in the next hundred years

I'm surprised that a lawn mowing version of the "Roomba" hasn't been developed yet or at least isn't in wide use yet.

It does. Actually, I think I saw it on the news last summer. It uses GPS to map the yard. There are also autonomous tractors.

If those autonomous units eventually become reasonably priced and effective there's an entire industry in the area where I live which would be very, very nervous.

Saw one of those "Lawnba's" at work the other day. Did a double take driving by, thought it was the mother of all Armadillo's in someones yard.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

A sheep or two might OK. Wool, cut the grass and would fertilize the lawn.

They should be nervous. A quick search on Amazon will show you at least 6 different brands available on there.
I have been thinking about going with a Husqvarna unit, as there is a dealership located nearby, and they would probably be able to handle installing the buried border wire, (as I don't want to have to mess with that). IIRC, it will even interface with Alexa.
The outfit that cuts our grass provides a good service, but those heavy lawnmowers rolling around sometimes lead to irrigation pipe breaks, etc. Changing out a sprinkler head is annoying enough, but having to dig up and repair a pipe break somewhere in between sprinkler heads is a real PITA.
