I used to hunt pigs from a Yamaha 175 trail bike using a Win 94 30-30 with one hand. Bloody dangerous and I had too many prangs. Nothing like being pinned under a bike with a hot exhaust pipe pressed into my leg. No more, at 74 I'm too fragile but it was fun.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Thanks Panzer. I used to sort of shake the rifle to work the action, holding the lever group. Similar to the Terminator although not as polished. smile

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Another year and I will have been riding motorbikes for 50 years, still no thought of giving it up, tho maybe something a bit smaller than the FJR1300 would suit me better now.
Yesterday taking the wife to the hospital for an appointment we passed a shop full of motocrossers, I so nearly turned off to go browse and ask if they would take a FJR in trade in smile Don't think my knees would thank me tho.

Now I have shot my bow from horse back but never tried from the bike.

They left that part out of the documentaries they made about you, but yeah it must have been hectic.

Ah, a pic from an era before Mel Gibson mysteriously lost his Australian accent.

It still crept in for the first couple of Lethal Weapon movies.
