Ever since digital images and the web became a thing, there is one thing that is like nails down a blackboard for me: stretched/squashed images (where the display aspect ratio is wrong)!

Would it be possible please to change the aspect of the image area on what is titled the 'Aircraft Statistics' page (see attached) or have it direct to a different image instead of the one shared with the rectangular view that you see elsewhere in the game, so it can be modded... ?

I realise this is a minor thing, but sometimes when I forget and click on the page I then have to go push people in the lake in the local park just to calm down.

Several of the stats are wrong, too, for the E-4 (max speed at sea level was well above 240, date of introduction was not 1937, and I think engine version is for the E4/N)

I doubt it will change, we do not have lots of images there for all screen res and ratios currently.

Some stats are wrong but the BF109 was introduced 1937 during the Spanish Civil War, and the FM is not reading that stats page.

Oh, does it stretch according to the users screen resolution? That's tricky then.

I thought you could just drop the aircraft image into a background, merge it into being one image, name it slightly different to the one in the profile folder but keep it there and have the stat page point to that one instead. Then you could have something like the attached.

I think at the moment the image serves only to degrade that page rather than add to it, having just the statistics document texture would be better. But, of course, that's just one opinion.

When we get to put your finished map in and maybe any other mods - we'll look at the stats page. It's a hang over from pre-wide screen days.
