Video tutorial if possible, but not necessarily.
My main concern is with landing. Looking for tips at what is a proper altitude decent. Altitude to runway ratio, proper speed control.
I sometimes approach too fast and "skip" on the runway, or sometimes I will drop too quickly and hit trees just short of the runway. And sometimes I'm able to land safely, I'd say 40% of the time.

Also any tips on speed control while trying to fly in formation, would be appreciated.

Impatience is
the cause of my bad landings. You say you can land ok some of the time, and times you know you came in too quick or slow, so you do actually know how to, you just need to be consistent which i reckon is found by practise or patience our both.

A rough idea of my basic landing process is come down to about 200m, fly parallel to the runway and about 500m away. Slow down to 200kmh, when past the end of the runway a bit,1km or so for starters, turn 180 and in doing so loose enough speed to put flaps 50%, then put gear down, then flaps 100%. Coming in to where you want to land, trim nose up a few degrees. Then reduce power to touch down.

You don't need a lot of runway to stop if you are slow enough, so don't feel you have to land at the start, and by not aiming for the start you avoid the panic of thinking you are falling short. Unless you're damaged always have the patience to go around if you need to but even if too fast for landing, you're too slow to turn with wheels and flaps out so retract them to turn away to go round.

The best videos on learning in my opinion are requiem's air combat tutorials.

(Edit: Just paid more attention when I landed and 200kmh is perhaps a bit slow to be before turning in.)

Just make sure you are going around 200kph even slower with the flaps down. Also make sure to use those flaps, you can just coast on in at slow speed and basically fall on the runway. Definitely check out requiems videos.
