What a meltdown for Vegas. Up 3-0 in the game and lost in OT.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

That has got to be one of the worst meltdowns in NHL history. Unbelievable. VGK should have taken a timeout after first SJ goal. Total disaster. What is your thought on the penalty? I thought it was a bit harsh.

Can someone go check on Wango. LOL. Thank God Jake Gardner has likely played his last game as a Leaf. Freddie Anderson has been a good goalie, but that first goal should not have squeaked in at the angle. The thing that really bothers me is that the Leafs had no answer for Bostons dirty tactics. Marchand's crosscheck from behind on Matthews at the end of the second period. Chara's sucker punch to the head of Tavares. I miss the Leafs teams with toughness. But the NHL is about speed and skill, hitting is at a minimum even in the playoffs now. Babcock is obviously one stubborn ass too. Last 2 games he pulled the goalie at terrible moments. It will be interesting to see if they keep Babcock as coach. He has 4 more years at $6.25 mil. They had Boston for the taking in game 6 and blew it.

Leaf's had a good regular season yes, best in years right? But I doubt any Leafs fan is feeling content today.
I don't see Babcock going anywhere this year. But I don't have my finger on the pulse of Leaf Nation.
The Flyers lack grit too. Not sure how important it is anymore. The best way to deal with dirty tactics in today's NHL is to bang in another goal. But the Flyers can't do that either, so that's why they are home watching the playoffs.
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Well, IMHO,I think the original cross check right off the face off should have just been a two minute minor. Pavelski's injury seemed to come from when he came into contact with Stasttey. . I don't think Stastney even saw him coming. It was a scary looking play, and I think the ref let that dictate the call instead of the original hit. Still, all in all, VGK coach did not handle the situation well. Major choke.
I agree. It was ugly looking, terrible injury, but totally accidental.

Statsny at zero fault.
However the rules do state that in the case of serious injury as a result of the crosscheck, the referee does have the leeway to call the major. Rules say nothing about the stick inflicting injury, just *if* the injury occurs.
If Pav hadn't been injured so badly, 2 mins. But he was and the ref exerted his discretion.
Anybody learn anything about his condition? I can't find any updates.
What kind of car is that? What does it matter? When I drive it, I'm Steve McQueen

LOL. It looked like the Canes were down and out at the end of the 1st so stopped watching. Should have known better with how the games have been going this year.

I still can't find any information on what Pavelski's injury ended up being and how he is doing now. Is he expected to play again soon ?
Great comments on that article. The call was bad, but as one guy said:
The VGK's should apologies to their fans for giving up four power play goals in five minutes. LOL !

Looks like Carolina Hurricanes are the odds on favourites to be the Stanley Cup winners.
Take the Islanders 4-0. while the other teams are going have to play at least 2 or 3 more games.
