I saw it in person. Cool, but not to my liking.

KRT, we should meet there for it next year. Or I could fly and pick you up. If you haven’t flown in you are missing a real experience. That is a better part of the show.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

I was there Saturday and just missed it. I saw it on static display and tried to talk to the owner about it but got the distinct impression that he didn't want me bothering him. So I just figured "Okay...F.U.", and kept walking. It isn't an airplane that I makes me want to fly it. And according to Bud Anderson who did get a chance to fly it, it was not a particularly good airplane.

Yeah I can't imagine flying so far from center and it doesn't have the qualities of a single Mustang, but it is interesting. I'm still waiting for the P-61 restoration to be completed. http://www.maam.org/p61/p61_rest.htm
I'm not sure where you are OG, I'm in SRQ

We should get a group of SimHQ members to go next year.

That Black Widow....Wow.

Censored

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet.
I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

Do you think they'd let Pooch pre-read the announcer's script and edit for corrections?

That sounds like it could be interesting... my wife doesn't care to go and it's been a few years since I attended.
I had planned on going this year, specifically to see the XP-82. I had forgotten about it until several vintage aircraft flew over, on their way home presumably, as we were out working in the yard.

I'd have everybody bored to death. "Now, about the Mustang. That Rolls Royce engine was actually developed by the British who....."
People would be yelling, "Shut up!! I can't hear the planes!"
It would be fun to go with people who know airplanes, though. All I heard was, "It's hot," I'm hungry" "Why were you gone so long?" "I have to go to the bathroom!"

Lol, that's why I volunteer for the Sunrise photo shoot at Planes of Fame and not the rest of the show.
