As long as you alter the design enough that it is not a direct copy and paste, and you're not selling them... you're not breaking any cw infringement laws.

I'm ok with you using my base skins as long as credit it given to me and OBD. If love to see these active in the game.

I'd be glad to share them. Do you know how this is done? Do I have to set up something on the mods page?

Hi Jerbear,
Zip them including a text file saying what they are and credit to OBD base skins.
Then if you PM me through the forum, we can get them hosted on the 'User Mods pages'.
Alternatively' you could upload them, for example to Dropbox' and PM me the download link,

Mike

Thanks Sand B. I appreciate the help. First though, I'm going to have to figure out what all that means and how to do it. Then there are some corrections and improvements I will need to make on the skins so they will be more completely accurate. I'll get back in touch. JB

Back again. read about zipping a folder. Looks simple I'll see about the Dropbox app as well, don't know which I'll go with. I'll experiment. May be a week or two before I can get the skins just the way I want them so I don't embarrass myself.

Been having too much fun on WOTR guys but my 1st campaign mission in WOFFUE for a while transfered me on a dawn flight with Jasta 2 to Lagnicourt. (using Jasta 12,s Kurt Monington skin as my personal one)

Jerbear, I drew those profiles for the Jasta 23b book. If you want the actual images I drew to use for skins, which would be a higher quality than scans from the book, just let me know.

Thank you. I would be very happy to have them. I try to do a little skinning and they would be just the thing. I will PM you.

Thought I'd add a few screenshots to the conversation. Really enjoying the new graphics card. All settings up to 5 and it feels like my visibility distances is further out too. Trying one of the oddball crates that I haven't flown since the days of the Western Front Patch for Red Baron 3D, the Fokker DII.

Here's a few more from last night's mission. Managed to bag a BE2 in my Fokker DII type and actually got the victory confirmed! I think the magic this time was reporting where the enemy fell in relation to several landmarks (between our lines and the factories West of Douai, for example).

Beautiful work. As for the purists, it's your world in that computer. If it feels good, do it.
