Guys:

I reloaded & patched IL2 to 4.14 and reloaded two of my favorite maps: Italy online and Torpedo Alley. I noticed a few other maps at the 'Mission4Today' website like Burma, Norway and Tobruk, so I downloaded them too--those three did not show up however; It appears that something more than just unzipping it into my quick mission folder is necessary--so how do I do this? I notice Norway and Tobruk have my favorite type of mission--anti shipping attacks.

Thanks ahead of time.

Here is an example using the Tobruk QMB missions.
Tobruk QMB: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=5165
They were built using v4.13m so anything after that version should allow the missions to play correctly.

These first two screenshots show what is in the zip file.

This is what it looks like after you place the folder in the Missions quick folder.
D:\Games\11h_Ubisoft_v413_4m\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Quick\Tobruk\(Mission files)

Make sure there is not a double Tobruk folder or the missions will not show up in the QMB.

And if everything is done correctly it shows up in game.

So do I 'unzip' the Folder into the Quick Mission Folder or do I 'unzip' it somewhere else and put THAT into the QMF or just put the whole Tobruk package in the folder?

[EDIT]

Nevermind I got my answer; I simply put the folder with the missions in the QMB folder & voila it's good to go.

You are less likely to make a mistake if you unzip the file to your desktop and then move it to the Quick folder but what matters is that the Tobruk folder and all of its contents ends up in the Quick folder which is located in the Missions folder.

Example: Missions\Quick\Tobruk\(.mis and .properties files)
