I just re-engineered my shield gen on the ‘vette, now rocking out at 8013 mj. Woot!!!! That's insane! I saw your post about the rebuy, and thought to myself yeah it may as well be 21 billion for all the times you'll need to pay it Shhhh!!! Don’t jinx me, D. I’ve been lucky so far. Only had 1 instance that I couldn’t handle, Wingy to the rescue. It was a “kill x amount of convicts” mission. Turned out to be convoys of Type 10’s, 9’s, and 7’s. Even the mighty Goeben needed help that day. Wingy even got hours of notoriety for helping me out.

Awesome, thanks, that really helps. OK, Bo, I will refrain from mentioning your ship's invincibility

My home system is Parun, a Federation system. It was an exhaustive 3-4 minute search to find the perfect spot for what I wanted right then that eventually wound up being the staging point for my fleet and unused modules, so now I call it "home." The home station is a Coriolis (Sorry DB!) station that sits just under 400ls from the system entry point, and it's far enough away from the gravity well that you can safe disengage out of supercruise at 3.7Mm. I never paid much attention to the local scenery, it's always been a place to come back to for a different ship. I chose it because the I was getting both Empire and Fed rep from the station I was running rescues in, so it gave me an opportunity to run rank missions for both powers in one go. It got to the point all my ships were there, so I called it home. I never even LOOKED at the rest of the system until this thread came along, and lo and behold, I find it has 11 landables on it, with a decent assortment of raws (even a trace of Polonium)! It also seems to be fairly centrally located, so I'm not doing too many jumps to get to where I want to go. So until there's some compelling reason to leave, I'll probably just keep my stuff here. Oddly enough, Eddb doesn't have much on it, but EDSM has a good breakdown. Parun on EDSM
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein

Parun looks good. Must have good RES hunting too I reckon with that number of rings. I just noted the Polonium planet. I will come and take it

Almost forgot, but there are an assortment of RES' in system as well. I was thinking I should go and scan the rings and see what kind of goodies are there.

Don't think I have a system that I'd truly considered home, but there are a few regions that I spend more time in to work an faction allegiance, missions,... That said, most time I worked based out of KAMOCAN, working on local and Empire rank, and earing me most of my trade Elite hopping between K., INDRACHIT, GRIDGE, AGARLA, and CANDECAMA. A lot of high population/security systems, fairly safe to run the T-9, esp. after equipping it with the guardian FSD booster.
