It might just be me (windows 10 setup) - I get a prop transparency error on a single P-47 D skin when viewed from outside (the default player one - black skull on yellow engine cowling skin - the others are fine). Also have a prop issue with the left prop (when viewed from the front) on the Me210's (all). Right prop is fine, but left prop shows 3 black triangles spinning. Also come across unusual armament on P-47 D quick missions - torpedo on left wing, bomb on right. This is using the NewMapfeb5.exe and 25-Aces over Europe Theatre for 1.6.

Not my problem I just re-installed Modred's 1.28c version, and when I ran it it defaulted to Glide, and everything seemed OK 1.28c Glide: I switched to D3D: I got the same difference in 160: Glide: D3D: The original skin is not rendering properly in d3d.

It appears to have occurred in the 1.28c to 1.29 conversion, and it looks like a transparency file issue. The 1.28c to 1.29 conversion just arranges files in folders without changing the names. The conversion to 160 changes the names. The files themselves are not modified. Well I don't experience any of those issues with Modred's original 1.28c release - all works well. No worries, I will just stick with that and use 1.6 for other things.

I was running Modred's 1.28c in two of the last screenies. In Win 10 the Mitchell is fine in Glide, but in d3d it has the problem you reported. It is the same in the 160 conversion, good in Glide, bad in d3d. Have you tried d3d? No no, I was referring to the transparency and load-out issues I mentioned earlier. Idk about the Mitchell in d3d - haven't noticed. Will have to go and check that later today.

Loadout issues: 160 uses an expanded set of weapons so the "weapons.dat" and "weapons.str" files are different from those in 1.28c Consequently a number of planes in the 160 version of AoE are showing a torpedo as part of the loadout. What I have done is to go to Ray's ETO planes (made for 160) and copy some of the FM loadout files from folders of planes that are similar to those in Modred's set. I am testing it at the moment, but things seem to be going well, and if there seem to be no problems I will release a patch.
