I have made a new installation for GameRanger pilots:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/3qz0pgzs1vgd8aa/UAWGameRanger.exe/file

Running it creates a "UAWGameRanger" folder for online play.
I have just uploaded it so I will download it and test it.
Many folders that we do not use have been removed.
For example there is only one SPAW folder, the new floatplanes, because it has the carriers in the same places as SPAW MP, but some additional floatplane bases
It has the latest eaw exes, and the new mission maker.

Edit:
We are using the mission maker, and some new files were written last night for Modred's AoE160, so there is an update to be run in your "UAWGameRanger" folder

This is the link to the MSN folder update and a new version of the mission maker:

For Modred who is happy to have his work running in 160, and even requested me to set it up smile

Swordfish attack in DAW

I have spent several hours trying to get Ray's recent Swordfish to work properly when loaded with torpedoes.
There is something in the "plne.flt" file that does not allow it to drop below 500 feet on the torpedo run, and in needs to drop below 100 feet.
I cannot find the cause, so I used Moggy's DunkirkFM, with the loadout edited and made a new planeset:

It worked very well smile

Now I need to make a patch to add the planeset and the folder I used to the new multiplayer installation smile

Here it is
http://www.mediafire.com/file/xrf18alhsoh1owa/SwordfishFix.exe/file
Run it in your UAWGameRanger folder. The planeset installed is "MED-43 with Swordfish1 Torpedo(MP)", and a "Swordfish_Torpedo_FM" folder is added to the Aircraft_Inventory

For the record, I have absolutely no problem with FM replacements if doing so solves some functional issue with the planes that, for the most part, are AI flown.

I don't worry to much about the flight dynamics of these planes. If they have appropriate damage models, speed, accurate armament and a working loadout I think that's enough.

However, as was done in this case, I would like to be informed of the changes.

Heck, even paranoids have enemies.
