Remember the very non-Disney ending to The Black Hole? Creepy barely describes it! Maximilian/Reinhardt and the crew in a scene right out of The Inferno.
Ok, maybe it’s not a direct sequel, but a good “what if”.

If I remember correctly, didn't they make it through the Black Hole safely in "The Black Hole?"

I watched the film more times than I could guess when I was a kid. So awesome. Maximilian was scary as hell. I imagine he'd be best buds with Pinhead in the tenth circle of hell.


Even Horizon, however, that's a film I've also seen countless times, but yearns for more. Did you know that there's about thirty minutes of missing footage, that the director swears would transform the film, that they were forced to cut for various reasons that he'd love to release in a "Director's Cut" version of the film... If they could find the footage. Sadly, it was lost.

If you've seen the film enough, you'll probably realize what I'm talking about--how some of the plotting gets a bit disjointed towards the late-middle portion of the film. Like something's missing.

Yeah. Apparently what was cut was too insane for the producer to let go to print. Or something like that.

I love Event Horizon--classic. But I've always wanted more.

Maybe not a sequel but maybe inspired by..A good remake of the Black Hole is in order I would think..Forbidden Planet scared me as a kid..
