Hello All

Been getting back into EAW lately, had forgotten how good and flexible it was. All versions are running well under Win10, with just one remaining (all-pervasive) problem.

Seems whatever variant I run, I keep getting a mouse cursor appearing, fixed, in the middle of the screen. This appears in all screens, menus as well as 3D. A little white arrow in the gunsight is a bit of an immersion killer..

Does anyone have any suggestions please for suppressing this mouse cursor?

1. Make a shortcut to the eaw.exe and copy it to your desktop.
Double click the shortcut to launch EAW

or

2. Right click on the eaw.exe to bring up a little menu, and then right click "Open"

Thank you Mr Jelly, option 1 is how I have run all of my programs since Windows 3. So that’s probably not the solution.

I have found though that the irritating fixed central mouse cursor only seems to appear after I’ve been delving into the “Options” selection. Indeed after I’ve done that for one EAW installation, it appears for all of them. So my solution is very simple. Stop fiddling with the options, and just enjoy the sim.
