I was having a hard time with seeing the default "dots" label and I don't like using "activity" labels as they are to big. So, I played around with them and decided I liked the "+" in a larger size and in "red" . If anyone is interested here is a JSGME ready Dropbox zip. Simply unzip into your JSGME "MOD" folder and install it with JSGME. You can adjust the distances you see the "+" at in the work shop menu. I included a picture of how these adjustments work. Just remember that this makes the dot for friendly or foe a red "+". I usually look for AA around one of these labels to determine they are an enemy if you are flying for the UK over Britain. Maybe someone else here knows how to make the Dot different colors for friend and foe?
Have a play around and if any requests to JJJ,S mods he,s always happy to help. There may be something in those mods to help you out furthur

I have used the Multimod many times after each patch. Haven't really used the mission editor as the Campaign suits my needs. Adger what, for instance, would you be changing with the Mission editor that is not happening in game? I am curious Sir.
Hi ChiefWH, thanks fro the comments. Thanks for all of your mods, I use quite a few of them and they certainly compliment WOTR well, especially the Map. DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE
THE MAP
I am hoping that you will see it through and that Pol will install it in the game via one of the patches, with your approval of course. It really works well Sir.
I don't know if others have trouble seeing the dots on a 27" good quality monitor @ 2560x1440, I have an Asus, like I did, but the stock dots were not working for me. This mod seems to work pretty well if you need some sort of label. I try to turn labels off all the way sometimes, but then I just seem to lose everybody and end up flying around aimlessly unless I see AA bursts, but then I have to chase them down. I am sure I could lower my resolution to 1080p and I would be able to see the jerrys just fine, but I just can't bring myself to do it. WOTR looks to good to me in 2560x1400 for me to go back. Now I am sounding like the VR guys, once you go VR, you will never go back! I can change the actual dot to anything if someone wants something different.
Hi Blade, hope your well pal. RE the mission editor I sometimes use it for things like..height at waypoint changes, also you can increase/ decrease squadron speed to waypoint. You can change these at ALL individual waypoints. You can change formation from the ME prior to take off. There's lots of features and I believe more will come has the future of WOTR grows.
JJJ is the man to tell us more,I sincerely hope he's still around..for me his Editors\Mods are simply brilliant. In fact I have the utmost respect for all modders who share their mods with us all.

I'm trying to use tour mod, but it doesnt appear to work. Default display isnt changed at all
Alright brauner1 I just tried my mod again and it works just fine. Please see the first post in this thread as it is a good explanation as to how to set this up in JSGME. Key code: 1. Labels = L 2. Label Type = Shft + L ---> This cycles through all of the Label types in a circle. You will see each type at the top center of the screen as you press the Shft + L You are looking for "Dots" 3. Remember you will only see Labels out to 20,000 meters if you set up the Workshop settings like I did in the above pictures. Once your Squad Mates jump into the fight and move a short distance away from your plane then they will appear as a red "+" also. Don't shoot the friendlies.
Let me know if I can be of anymore help if you are still having troubles with this.
Thanks JJJ65, Mark had confirmed this to me as well. Is it possible to have WOTR only show enemy dots and not show friendly dots?
S!Blade<><
IMHO, it is possible just with labels (show friendly labels and not enemy by setting alpha channel of enemy labels to transparent) but not with the dots. That is what I do use.
Good deal brauner1, hope it helps some with finding the enemy and/or the friendlies. Thanks JJJ65 for clarifying to put JSGME "MODS" folder in the WOTR folder.
